Just 6 days after crossing the Atlantic Peter and I headed home to Brisbane for only three weeks! Peter’s middle grandson was getting married and we had our usual round of doctors, dentists, accountants etc to see. Especially since the next year will have us in the Pacific for the first 6 months then In Indonesia basically, with potentially less availability of these professionals. We did get the all clear and an extra needle or two. The wedding was in Melbourne – we did a flying overnight for it.

The venue was a winery in the Yarra Valley, a beautiful spot and a lovely wedding.

It was good fun catching up with many friends and family but very rushed!

With Rupert - he talked me into putting up the tree just for 3 weeks!

It was lovely to get back to find Entre Nous in working order and clean and welcoming. Shaunagh and Max had taken good care of her whilst also catching up on some delayed time off.

We ae now back in Rodney Bay, having left EN and Shaunagh and Max in Marigot Bay for the month. Time to get ready for the Wolrd ARC leave date of 11 Jan. Hoping to get some WINGit practice in before then.

The flights over took 47 hours total – airports and flying. Horrible, even with all connections being on time etc. Two 8 hour airport stops really take it out of you. Then before we knew it - all over again to get back! We ended up crossing the Atlantic 3 times in one month one way or another!
